Be in your element
One line: Five days, fifty stops, and one orange scarf.
Client: Great Ocean Road Regional Tourism
Year: 2025
Role: Photography, video, art direction, styling, casting
Delivered: Campaign stills, HD itinerary footage and social video
Be in Your Element asked people to feel the Great Ocean Road, not just see it. Fire, water, sand underfoot, wind in your hair.
GORRT needed content for the whole region, from the Surf Coast to Cape Nelson, serving several councils and partner businesses at once. That meant five days and about 50 stops: cafes, heritage buildings, lookouts, beaches and a spa. At each one I shot stills, HD footage for regional itineraries, and lo-fi video for social.
For most of the shoot it was just me and the talent, Selin. I handled the art direction, styling and camera. An orange scarf ran through the series. It moved in the wind, stood out against grey skies and basalt, and tied dozens of locations into one journey.
We shot the weather we got. That's the coast visitors will actually find, and the content is still in use across GORRT's social and print more than 18 months later.
